Beer Market Singapore - there were TV showing tennis matches, a solo singer strumming her guitar away, more TV screens showing prices of different beers that did not fluctuate.
Was it a sports bar? What has indie musicians / bands got to do with the stock market? Was its stocks market inspired mechanism aimed at educating teenagers, who seem massively drawn to the place, how to trade? If prices only change every 30min and all drinks are more expensive than other bars, how does the pricing mechanism work?
Either way, the place was confusing. And the music (blow-your-whistle type) was…the final straw. It was not the place for us. We left for a cafe.
In all fairness, the fries at Beer Market tasted good! Adds to the confusion what Beer Market is all about, huh?
